So today two friends and I were driving to a cookout 30 miles away to see some very cool people. A block away from his place we were side struck by a driver who thought that red lights were optional, and changed our trajectory from the road ahead to the tree on the side of the road. The three of us are lucky to be alive. I must have some good karma working for me, because I can’t think of an other explanation for why we were all spared.

Story behind this? Her dad was leaving on a 2 year deployment. She was crying, and wouldn’t let go of her dad’s hand, even when he stood in line, saluting. No one had the heart to break them apart.

Solo Cups: Knowledge
I was curious about the lines on solo cups the other weekend and learned something amazing. This information should be taught in an intro class to all high schoolers and college students.
It turns out that the lines of the solo cup allows you to measure out a shot, a glass of wine, and a beer. This would have been ridiculously helpful during my partying years!
